Inspiration & Education

August 7, 2019  |  8:00am - 3:30pm |  Free Event!

The Pierce County Cancer Survivorship Conference is an annual event to support and celebrate the community of cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers in the South Sound. Held every August on the beautiful University of Puget Sound campus, this event is presented by multiple community organizations and cancer care advocates. Thanks to the generous sponsors and other supporters, this conference is free to all attendees!

Breakout sessions throughout the day explore an array of topics supporting cancer fighters and survivors. Join us to hear speakers share their inspirational stories about the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of their journey with all of those affected by cancer.

Breakout Sessions

We work hard year-round to book relevant and interesting topics and speakers for the Conference. Your day will begin with a buffet style breakfast, followed by two breakout sessions of your choosing. Next you will enjoy a buffet lunch before participating in the the final two breakout sessions of the day. Massage therapists and a henna artist are on hand for some extra relaxation before the third and final breakout session of the day.
